Step into your very own painting! Our apartment is dedicated to the great painter of Romanticism, Caspar David Friedrich (1774–1840). No one made the fascination of Saxon Switzerland as immortal as he did – his world-famous work “Wanderer above the Sea of Fog” was created in 1817 right here in this inspiring rocky landscape.

The apartment is quietly located in the side wing on the upper floor of our Haus Saxonia. It is the perfect retreat for 2 people who want to enjoy the silence after a hike.

Let your gaze wander from the balcony – perhaps you will discover your own “sea of fog” moment? The apartment offers a cosy living room with satellite TV and Wi-Fi as well as a fully equipped kitchen for enjoyable evenings. In the bedroom with double bed you will find the rest you need for new adventures.
